I’m Becky, a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer based in Welwyn Garden City. I live here with my husband Pete, and our cat, Bernard. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me out walking with friends, creating something crafty or enjoying a box set or two with a cold, crisp gin and tonic in the evenings.
When Pete and I tied the knot a few years ago, I was really sad when the big day was over, and I knew that I wanted weddings to be a part of my day-to-day life from then on! I began to capture these special memories for other couples that can be enjoyed for years and generations to come.
I adore weddings and everything about them, and I really love getting to know my couples in the lead up to the big day. It’s my aim to be like a friend with a camera on your wedding day, rather than ‘the photographer’.
I’m a very relaxed person and I bring this to my approach to photographing your big day. You won’t find me frantically running around like a mad thing, and you certainly won’t hear me asking anyone to ‘say cheese’! I capture natural, relaxed images of you and your guests having an amazing time. I like to hide in plain sight, unobtrusively capturing the action as it unfolds, so that you have a set of images that transport you back to your wedding day – not just to what the day looked like, but what it felt like.
Each wedding is so personal to each individual couple, and it’s my absolute pleasure to capture that individuality, from the unique moments to the little details you’ve been planning for ages or have spent your evenings crafting to create the perfect day.
I love capturing weddings in all kinds of different settings, from garden marquees and barns to quirky pubs, and from beaches to elegant manor houses. If you’re planning a relaxed day full of laughs, happiness and an awesome party for your nearest and dearest, take a look at my work and drop me a line.
